Dibaq Aquaculture through its R+D+I department makes a great effort to constantly improve its aquaculture products making tests in order to improve its food productive and economic results. In the food batches with same grinding formula at different sizes tests, we saw that the FCR, the survival percentage and the growth improved significantly as particle sized decreased.
As a result of this research, MICROBAQ®’s new flakes line has a wide range of particles sizes depending on the age of cultivation fishes. This decreases sizes spread.

Dibaq has bet on this technology in its factory bearing in mind both development and improvement in young fishes' diets.
In addition, Microbaq has:
- L-Carnitine that is an essential nutrient in fatty acids oxidations. Many times, endogenous biosynthesis is not enough to cover fish’s needs. This is why it is especially interesting for L-Carnitine to be part of the diet. Not only to improve growth, but also to help to mount up proteins and decrease mortality.
- Immunostimulants (beta-glucans) that get a positive effect of the fish immunospecific system.
- A high concentration of Vitamin C. This vitamin is essential for fishes due to the fact that they cannot synthesize themselves. The highest resistance to bacterial infections is related to high concentration of Vitamin C in the diet.
