Dibaq has a full line of products for tilapia that have been designed for the production of this species in intensive facilities with high loads.

These are highly digestive products that guarantee a low index of conversion and that create very few wastes.

Distribution: NTilapia originated in Africa. It has been placed in Asia, Central America and South America to its cultivation.

Feeding: It is an omnivore species that eats fitoplancton, perifiton, aquatic plants, small invertebrates, benthic fauna, wastes and bacterial caps linked to detritus.

Fishing: With net.

Breeding:Small lakes, ponds, cages and tanks.

Reproduction: Courtship takes several hours. Fecunded eggs and embryos (until 15 days) are inside the female’s buccopharyngeal cavity (80.6ºF), so she stops eating. At high temperature, males are predominant over females. Consecutive hermaphoditism.
