Project Cenit Acuisost (2007-2010), headed by Dibaq Aquaculture, with a €21 million budget for 4 years. Acuisost has been the first Cenit
Project given to an animal diet company. It includes a total of 24 companies and 20 top-level research centres with the aim of achieving a
respectful with the environment, sustainable and rational aquaculture.
During 7 activities and 4 years of work, the main aims of this ambitious project are focused on development and evaluation of raw material,
technologies and systems in the aquaculture sector covering features like aquaculture feeding, biosecurity, marketing of high added value products,
food security and sub products’ minimization and appreciation that boost a rational, respectful with the environment and sustainable aquaculture
production.
